Summary0000151: Soldat not minimizing
DescriptionIn a lot of cases, when trying to minimize soldat, (F9, Alt+Tab, Win+D) the game stays open still - without being able to control anything. Soldat stays in front of everything, even Task Manager. Sometimes it minimizes after a couple of seconds, sometimes I am forced to kill the process - twice the whole pc froze.
Steps To ReproduceProbably this isn't reproducable on most computers, as I haven't heard anyone complain about it yet. Might be connected to this bug: http://bugs.soldat.pl/view.php?id=77 [^]
Additional InformationVery annoying, so important - though I'm not sure if I'm the only one.
Never happened before 1.6.

Could you please add your soldat.ini?
I think this has to do with the stretching and showing above taskbar feature.
Do you use that?

If you are playing Soldat on screen resolution same as yours monitor resolution - I think I discovered a temporary fix for this.
Just untick "Fullscreen" in config.exe and set monitor's resolution. Soldat won't minimize, but at least you will be able to do something you have to do without closing game (Soldat will stay in background).

Cannot reproduce the bug with your soldat.ini.
Might have something to do with cpu load spikes when switching from fullscreen to windows and back.
But hardly fixable when I can't reproduce it.

Can you tell me how you get soldat hanging (exactly)?
Is it Ingame or while you are in the GUI (or both?).
You switch to special programs? Anything else is running in the background?

Okay, I think I managed to find out the reason.

When you switch to an other application, DirectInput is disabled; when switching back, you have to click to initialize it again. Try to switch back into soldat and before you re-initialize it Alt+Tab.

However, the tick for fullscreen worked as a temporarily solution - thanks.

TheOne is this fixed? You said it could be related to 0000077 wich is fixed allready.
