What exactly should happen when you throw the flag at a wall?
The current "nothing happens" is more like this: you throw at a wall, before the flag gets the chance to be seen it gets recaptured by you. |

One possible solution:
After throwing a flag the player can't recapture it until one second has passed.
|

This should be fixed. It happens a lot in climb, in coops when you want to throw the flag. It has something to do with the protecting the flag not to go through the wall. So when you are surrounded by walls and you want to throw the flag through thin tunnel then it wont throw because the flag is scared of getting stucked in the wall :D. |

I use that intentionally in climb, to trap the flagger. Make the thin tunnel a little larger then you'll have space to throw the flag... |

No. You don't throw the flag and grab it again. There is no message about "Player X captured the flag" or anything. The throwing simply doesn't work. |

It's shitty for times when you're facing a wall with a window in them, and you simply can't throw it through because of this. |

If a window is too small for the flag to go through, why should you be able to throw it? It would only bounce back to you or get stuck in the wall.
What version is the demo from?

If the player is too close to the polygon he can't throw the flag. That's ok, but it looks like that distance from the player to the polygon, where you can't throw the flag, is too big.
Watch the demo and you will see. I try to throw the flag in the lower tunnel of ctf_Cobra, but even though ther's lots of space left to the roof, I can't throw it up, or even sideways if the roof is too close. |
