0000283: map downloading
When you have modified version of some map, and sever has different but named the same, you will get into server, but you will be kicked after 5-10 seconds. I suggest to put unique map ID inside of every .PMS that changes with every map modification, and make a function which compare those map ID's and if they are the same, let you join to the server, if your's map ID isn't exactly same as server's map, dialog window should appear where you can choose are you downloading map from server or you aren't.

they have problem was ppl abused it by editing the map(removing sceneries to reveal hiding spots) and leaving the ID the same. so now we checksum the map instead.

I guess we could change the netcode so that checksum is checked before you join the server, not in game, though i have a feeling that might be non-trivial. Anyway, it's not that related, closing this.
