| Summary | 0000238: Being able to join TDM teams in DM gamemode. | ||||||||||||
| Description | As report title says. Nothing more nor less. It could be fault of my server cause it's using my script which is preventing users from joining game when there are 2 players in-game already (simple 1vs1 script). I'll attach it to the report. | Steps To Reproduce | - Join the on-line game. - Go to spectator team. - Press esc and choose option "Change Team". - Choose from menu "0 Player" - It randomly puts you in any team which is not DM's default. | ||||||||||||
| Additional Information | I was unable to reproduce it and will be attaching screenshot from some Polish player. As you can see he was able to join the game as Bravo. Usually I get message "Alpha team is full" and it prevents me to join. The guy who was able to do it says he was getting this message too but it just put him in non-deathmatch team. | ||||||||||||

Yep I was wondering the same thing, but no one replied on #soldat.devs ; I dont run any balance scripts[its dm right] |

It appears I get "alpha team is full" on every non-teambased gamemode when trying to join game from spectator team using change team menu. |

I had this problem on my DM server. It only happens if "Balance_Teams" in "soldat.ini" is enabled, I had no problem when it isn't. It puts you in Alpha, sometimes it says "Alpha team is full" when server is nearly full I think but I don't know, it can be related to another thing. Some problems occur on joining to spectators too. |

Still happening in the 1.6.4 version. Steps to reproduce: 1. Join a server with gamemode with team 0. 2. Change to sepctator. 3. Try to go back to the game via "change team" menu. 4. Result - Text in red on top of the screen saying: "Alpha team is full". |

I still can't recreate this with the steps you provided. There must be something more to it. Can you recreate it on a fresh download of the 1.6.4 server and client? |
