Summary | 0000282: Excessive spawnkilling on Ash | ||||||||
Description | No desc needed. We all know what are we talking about. Spawn point in front of small ramp always causes dead when there are >10 players on server and you're not equipped with knife or saw. All the times you got facefu??ed without ability to even defend yourself if you're relying on Socom and which is usually useless in big crowd. | ||||||||
Steps To Reproduce | Go on any CTF server and don't ragequit. | ||||||||
Additional Information | I think there are 3 ways to potentially fix this: 1. Trying to acknowledge people that spawnkilling and basecamping is bad (hahaha) 2. Totally delete this spawn point and leave only one on "middle floor" (on "high floor" also people love to go with saw and dozens of nades) 3. Add new type of polygon and make this little wooden thing "only Alpha/Bravo non-collide" (depending on which side of map is it), which will make potential spawnkilling much less effective. Honestly, I think new polygon would be cool thing and some refresh to ye olde Ash. I know this would fit better on forums.soldat.pl, but for no apparent reason I can't even register there (after registering I get funny message that "that nickname doesn't exist") | ||||||||

Isn't this the wrong place to report this issue? This is rather a balancing issue and doesn't belong to soldat itself, rather to the mapping community. |

None of your suggestions are viable as they would change the map gameplay and mechanics too much. Ash being an iconic map, we don't want that. Closing. |
